Had 3 layers of old roofing on the house for 20+ years with no leaks, no problems at all. Realtor says if you want to sell the house you should re-roof. Crist took off the old roof and put on the new. Afterwards we found countless nails on the roof, globs of stuff, uneven roof tiles but thought it would be ok. Nope. First rain we had a waterfall coming down 2 walls flooding the floors. Took them weeks to come out and fix it then weeks more to reimburse us for the damage and that was with lots and lots of phone calls and complaining.
